Meet Natasha Lykins, LVT, & Dr. Mark Ben Paulino, DVM — the founders of Pawcake Skin
With more than a decade of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in dermatology, internal medicine, and holistic medicine, Natasha has dedicated her career to hands-on veterinary patient care and helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives. Through years of working directly with veterinary patients, she saw firsthand how challenging chronic, dry, irritated, and compromised skin can be, and how important proper skin-barrier care is to a pet’s overall comfort and well-being.
Dr. Paulino brings his expertise as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and years of experience
caring for pets in clinical practice. He is the owner of Cactus Pet Hospital in Las Vegas, as well
as co-owner of The Med Spaw with Natasha, where they share a passion for dermatology,
allergies, veterinary wellness, and integrative care.
Together, Natasha and Dr. Paulino created Pawcake Moisturizer as a separate company born from their real-world veterinary experience. They recognized a need for high-quality skin-barrier
support specifically designed with pets in mind and set out to create a product they could
confidently recommend for their patients.
Pawcake represents their shared belief that skin care should do more than temporarily moisturize — it should help support the skin barrier, hydrate compromised skin, and promote healthier, more comfortable skin.
